Game audio, composition, and music education
About
Born in 1995 in the city of Curitiba, Rafa Salvario began his studies in 2009 in the guitar workshops of the Wanda dos Santos Mallmann Cultural Center - Pinhais.
In 2015, he studies electric guitar and functional harmony with Rogério Eggers.
After such experience, he joined the Conservatory of Brazilian Popular Music of Curitiba (CMPB) in 2016 in the course of Language and Musical Structuring. In 2017, he started his degree in Music at the School of Music and Fine Arts of Paraná, a period in which he was able to work in an internship at the Cultural Foundation of Curitiba (FCC) in the projects Vivências e [con]vivências 60+ and MusicaR (Music Conservatory of Curitiba).
In 2020, in the last year of his undergraduate program, he got to know the Game Audio area, from his contact with Hugo Yasha. The following year, he joined the Game Audio Academy to improve his knowledge in composition and music production focusing on the universe of video games.
Currently, he is a guitar and music theory teacher at the place where he started his studies (Wanda dos Santos Mallmann Cultural Center). Also in this same space, he works as a musician and copyist for the Pinhais Municipal Concert Band.
In addition, as a composer, producer, and sound designer, he worked on Animal Across: Afrika, Escape Osefast and Lighthouse of Madness. Recently, he released a chiptune/8 BIT pack/album called ''8 BIT Adventure'' - being very inspired by The Legend of Zelda. The album is available on streaming apps such as Spotify, Deezer, and Tidal.
